Bagan's eyes

Arrive de Rangon tot le matin, c'est en cariolle a cheval que je rejoins Maxime et Laureline a la guest house. Descendu a pieds joints sur le chemin, mes deux amis hebaillis m'ont serre dans leurs bras, voila nous sommes trois, quelle joie!

Notre premiere journee, entoures de stupas et de temples en briques, ponctuee par quelques regards de grands Boudhas dans la penombre de quelques couloirs, s'est prolongee par l'ouverture des cadeaux et lettres que j'etais charge de transporter. Beaucoup d'emotion! Max et moi-meme nous sommes lances un petit defi et quelques minutes plus tard nous voila, crane rase, prets a rejoindre les monasteres de notre itineraire. C'est le coeur en joie et en enumerant les petites nouvelles de Belgique que nous nous sommes diriges vers le "Black Bamboo" pour un festin de Noel digne de chez nous.

Au matin, depart en velo pour le vieux Bagan. Nous avons pris plaisir a decouvrir les habitants et petits vendeurs de peintures et avons atterri au "The Moon" pour le dejeuner. En guise de dessert, nous nous sommes fait grimmer a la Birmane a la boutique d'a cote, decoction faite a base d'une ecorce, pour nous faire beaux et nous proteger du soleil. Il etait temps de rejoindre un stupa isole que nous avons gravi non sans mal avec l'apprehension de la descente a la lampe frontale. L'horizon de toute beaute nous a
emerveille par ces couleurs au coucher du soleil tandis que Max et Laureline revisaient leur espagnol.

Le lendemain matin, vers 5h, deux trishaws nous ont permis de rejoindre la plaine pour admirer les temples percants la brume, c'etait encore plus magique!

Petite seance de Yoga oblige ... Nous avons ensuite rendu visite a un peintre qui nous a guide dans son atelier ou nous avons craque pour deux objets identiques.

Ce 26 au  soir nous nous couchons tot, a trois heure du matin le bus pour Inle vient nous chercher."
