Patagonie, Acte 2: El Calafate (Argentine)

Nous arrivons a El Calafate apres 3 heures de bus.

La-bas, le temps varie entre pluie, drache et grele ... mmmh les plaisirs de la patagonie! Nous partons a la decouverte du Glacier Perito Moreno (60m de haut, 30km de large). Il continue d'avancer jusqu'a 2m par jour ce qui est assez exceptionnel. Il n'y a que 3 glaciersau monde qui se trouvent si proche de la mer: Franz Joseph et Fox en Nouvelle Zelande et celui-ci. Malgre le froid qui nous glace et les nuages qui couvrent le ciel, nous sommes subjugues par ce geant de glace etincelant de bleu. On passe des heures grelottants a l'observer et l'ecouter vivre: chaque morceau de glace qui tombe provoquant un bruit de tonnerre a vous donner des frissons.

Moins gai par contre, El calafate fut aussi pour nous l'endroit ou nous avons attrape des puces ... non, non ce n'est pas seulement reserve aux chiens. Les boutons se multipliant au fur et a mesure des jours nous ne nous en sommes rendus compte qu'il y a 2 jours, les joies du routard petit budget.

El calafate est une petite ville tres touristique et sans grand interet, nous partons donc le 31 mars pour 5 heures de bus en direction du Chili ou nous nous posons à Puerto Natales.

La ville en elle-meme n'a rien d'exceptionnel, mais permet de se preparer au fameux trek dans le Parc Nationnal de Torres del Paine.
